I deposited £500 and lost it, then received £300 from my husband and deposited that as well. I was betting on Women’s Tennis and the Cricket World Cup 2024 and ended up winning approximately £8015, with my balance around £8300. I withdrew £3000 on June 20th and £5000 two days later.
Both withdrawals were canceled, and I was asked to provide documents and a bank statement, which I submitted. They then claimed that the £300 I received from my husband was considered a third-party deposit, rendering all my winnings void.
I lodged a complaint with eCOGRA, but they sided with Unibet. Apparently, Unibet altered my account details to reflect the wrong gender. Despite all other details matching my ID, they changed my gender to male in their system, which seems to be part of their justification for voiding my winnings.
The situation is extremely frustrating and confusing, and I have been left with no resolution and my funds at risk.
